Finally I learnt a fast and cheap way to buy stuff online, so I was going to order "Day of the Dragon".
My only worry is:
I never read a WHOLE book in a language different than italian.
And reading DotD next to a dictionary wouldnt be really good...
So, I was going to ask if it is written in "Not too difficult english"...
I mean, I can read all your posts without problems (usually  ), and the same goes for my all my english games (all the blizzard games)...am I going to have issues with it??
Also...
What are the other Warctaft novels worth ordering??

It was written by Knaak. You have nothing to worry about.
P.S. Lord of the Clans and The Last Guardian are each superior to Day of the Dragon.

The language isn't very complicated. It'd say that it's aimed for 12-13 year-olds in that department. You manage this forum very well, so aside from the odd word or two every now and then (which I expect you encounter anyway) I doubt it'll be too difficult.

In the worst case use a dictionary.

Personnally, i learned to read english with Lord of the Rings when i was a kid +/- 20 years ago.
So, as i doubt blizzard books have a comparable level of english langage to the one that can be found in Tolkien works, you should be able to understand what is going on without having to refer to a dictionnary.
You can have an example on how understandable the blizzard english can be for you by giving a look to this url that contains a 6 pages sample of Day of the Dragons.

lol, you are evil :g laugh:
He wrote some stuff for "DragonLance" too, right?...
Anyway, I read the snippet and it is really easy to understand, I'll order it, with all the other books mentioned by King too.
And what about the Starcraft novels??

You can read samples from most (if not all) the blizzard books (and so the starcraft ones) at this url

I'd recommend against the Starcraft ones. Liberty's Crusade and Speed of Darkness are both REALLY bad. Legacy of the Xel'naga's not too horrible but has too many moments of huge cheese.

lol, good thing I didn't bother with Starcraft novels :g laugh:

Are they really so bad?? Why?
Is it badly written? Is the plot predictable, full of cliches and childish?
And what do you mean with cheese?? :g laugh:

Hm. I'm not sure how do adequately define cheese. I suppose what I mean is it had several instances with overly sentimental, disney-esque resolutions which didn't make a great deal of sense.
Liberty's Crusade starts off Ok, but quickly degenerates into a simple regurgitation of Rebel Yell, except this new character's been forced into the mix and becomes much more important than he should be. As far as technical writing skills, the book was fine, but it was unsatisfying on every other level.
Speed of Darkness is also pretty well written, but just becomes way too preachy, trite, and cliched. If you've seen any movie involving an apparently introspective look at soldiers in a war, you've seen Speed of Darkness. It offered nothing new on this take, and should have, considering the ample opportunity Starcraft afforded it.

speaking as classics major, who has to use a dictionary when reading books like the aeneid, its not so bad
