This is way off topic but I think it's merited nonetheless.
On Wednesday Icicella was in a rather severe car accident and was hospitalized. I just got an e-mail from her boyfriend and he gave me few details, but he said that she has been in and out of surgery and consciousness. He assured me that this is not huge cause for alarm which I took to mean she's expected to survive. He asked me on behalf of her for my prayers and thoughts, and so now I ask the same of you. I know she hasn't been around for a while but I thought that there were many among you who might like to know.
I don't really know much about it, but will keep you all up to date as I find out more.
thats very sad..... i also pray for her

And perhaps I should mention even in these situations I have a hard time staying serious. Humor is, after all, the best medicine.

I wonder if the accident was her fault or the other driver(s) (if there were any).
I get the feeling Icicella would be notorious for road rage.

I don't really know this person , i don't care about his/her atheist opinions and i don't care if this person is a he or a she.
So i offer my prayer to the God i believe in for this person , may she/he will recover quickly from this accident without important sequels.

Ok, I just received an e-mail from Isaac (her boyfriend) who gave me some more details on the accident and her condition. I don't see him ever coming in here but if he does be sure to thank him. For those who want to read it, read on.
She was in the backseat driver's side and they were T-boned by a guy running a stop sign. The driver (of the car she was in) has apparently been in critical condition since and Icicella was beaten up badly and was suffering primarily from blood loss. She's now conscious but Isaac hasn't talked to her yet. The diagnosis is that she broke her left leg in two places, her right ankle, a few ribs, her left arm, and she lost two fingers. The driver of her car is in considerably worse shape, and the passenger is apparently all but unharmed.
It sounds bad, but she's no longer in any danger and everyone agrees it could've been much worse.

That's funny, i've broken both my legs in two different places, both ankles, cracked my ribs and my right arm.
But I still have my fingers.

You're trying too hard to be a KCG, with the whole "I am all-powerful and god-like/bow before me, mortals" act, and the many attempts of drawing attention to yourself at various discussions.
Anyway, maybe we should make her a greeting card or something. Put up an white, empty jpeg file of 1024x768 and we should all 'sign' it with Paint or Photoshop, then get Neph to print it for her... it's nice to feel appreciated, even moreso when you just lost some parts of your body.
Just a suggestion.

Damn, are the finger going to be re-attached?
It must have been terrible...
...I'd hate to have to type without two of my fingers.
Oh, and here's a *not so plain* white 1024*768 file

I believe they do have a way to re-attaching fingers, provided the fingers are not crushed or anything. They use leeches to suck open the blood vessels and then re-attach the fingers at the bones. The human body does the rest by re-attching the severed skin and blood vessels.
Of course, the procedure must be done in a hospital, and usually with in a few minutes of the accident. Otherwise, the cells in the severed finger would be dead due to the loss of oxygen and required nutrients.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that she's alive. Didn't know her... at all, but I knew of her... a little. Enough to post here, anyway.
Wonder how she's going to deal with two fingers less... what fingers where there?

She might make posts in the ballpark of "I'm missing two fingers and I can still type more coherantly than you can."
And she'd probably be right.

Quite serious. I learned of it when I read an artical within a medical journal. You can't imagine all the whacky new procedure doctors all around the world have come up with. In fact, most of the "doctors" that came up with these cures that work are actually less educated in the human body than most high school kids... :g-sick2: :scared: :surprise: :shakehead :g shock:
Hopefully, she didn't lose her thumb. Otherwise, she might have some problems grabbing objects in the future. I have a score to settle with God, so praying is out of the question for me. I do, however, wish her the best. :y-square:

Seemed to me like it's not only in this thread that you're acting like that. Well, sorry anyway, but it really reminds me of KCG... not the attention-whore thing, but the trying-to-be-a-demigod thing, though there's none of it here.

I spoke with Icicella by proxy today, and she's in recovery. She said that she lost her ring finger and pinky, and they reattached her ring finger but the pinky was either not found or ruined beyond repair. She said she didn't mind, because she planned on getting rid of it anyway.
Though she's not happy with me for starting this thread, she thanks you all for your sentiments, and promised to stop in sometime. She'll be bedridden for a while so she expects to have plenty of time on her hands.

TheNewHorde- the only time to end someone's life is when it is ABSOLUTELY certain that they cannot be saved.(shot in the face with a .45mm revolver, for example) Euthanasia is then performed to spare them from unnecessary pain in their final moments in life. Look, Horde, if you're going to try and be "in our faces" then at least do so with something we can at least conditionally take seriously. Coat your cries for attention with at least a little subtlety. If you don't know her, and don't care, then I honestly see no reason for you to post here expressing such sentiments for any other reason than to get a rise out of the rest of us, which you evidently did.
Congrats, you offended our delicate sensibilities. I hope you sleep better.
Icicella may be just another forumer to some - I don't hold that against them - but she's a person and a friend to others, and it's not appreciated that you attempt to use her tragedy to give yourself more notoriety on a gaming forum.
On a side note, I've decided not to like you. The consequences of this may not manifest for some time, and may not be apparent when they do, but there will be consequences to this.

Zerg: The driver of the other car wasn't drunk, and I'm afraid he's dead. I don't know a lot about it but he had some sort of severe concussion that killed him a few days later.
King: I've come to the understanding that no one found it. My ring finger wasn't completely detached from my hand when they first pulled me out so they were able to reattach it after I got out of surgery. My little finger still remains unaccounted for, and if it was, **** you, I'm keeping it.
Horde: I'm afraid I've deceived you. My left arm and hand are broken, and my finger isn't expected to work properly for a few months. My right arm and hand are ok but I'm currently on a cocktail of painkillers that renders me rather useless when it comes to fine motor skills. I'm dictating to my boyfriend who's kind enough to type my messages out for me.
Here's the rundown of the people involved:
I was having some blood loss problems at first but am now ok.
The girl in the passenger seat of my car dislocated her shoulder but is otherwise fine.
The guy driving my car has suffered a severe concussion and has yet to regain lucid consciousness. They had to amputate one leg, and the other foot. The bones in his hand and arm were just shattered, and it's doubtful he'll ever be able to use them again.
As for the other car, the driver was killed, as I mentioned, and the passenger, his wife, broke a bunch of ribs and apparently lost an eye. I'm not exactly sure how that happened, but I hear she wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
And everyone thank Isaac for being such a sweetheart and typing all my **** for me.

That icon have no jaw whatsoever and the face isn't light green. And that orc's eyes isn't brown. Oh, anyways, I am getting use to the icons. Don't you think an icon often represents someone?
I'm not exactly sure how that happened, but I hear she wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
......holy ****z0rz thats kinda shocking to read that...being there would be a different story :y-candle:

I went to your site, Naphlian and the Garona icon woman made a fantastic site with warcraft lore. I love it! So detailed! Even the minor useless one mission showing charactor have at least a paragraph sentense.
(Though there is this warcraft lore I thought I can add to your knowledge... It may sounds rude, but you might be interested. Thronby, from the ROC human campaign level 1. The man was a farmer who volunteered to fight for Loardaran under Arthas' command. Thronby the footman followed Jaina and her warriors across the sea, and survive the third war against the Legion. He became one of the captains of Theramoore Isle, and when Adminral Proudmoore invaded Doratar, he followed and was killed in the outskirt of the Barrens by Rexxar and his gang. His is not a important dude, but you seem like a warcraft lore nut, so I thought you might like to know. If you decide to put it on ur site too, then please at least stat that a kid named Jeff gave you the info.)

The Chinese you refer to are born in America. The Chinese i refer to were born in China. There is great diference between the cultures, mostly at the child level. You have a free will as to whether to do well in school or not, although I'm sure your parents encourage you to succeed. In China, it is encouragement they recieve, but in a total different form. If you fail, you fail not only yourself, but your parents, your family, as well as your entire bloodline lineage. Therefore, they strive for the best, and only the best, because anything else, even second place, is considered a disgrace.
Perhapes until you take time to truly understand their culture, you would not be stupid enough to mix ABC(American born Chinese) with those who are from the motherland. But then again, I'm sure you will have trouble in swallowing your pride and check the facts for yourself, as that would admitt defeat. Do not think that because you are Chinese, that it makes you one of them. You are not. You are influnced by American culture, the right to make one's choice for oneself, and the understanding that failure does not mean the end. They do not have the same luctures that you have possessed, and everything they do stems from custom. Conservative it maybe, it makes them in-humanly better than you at things that seem trivial. But it makes them weaker at things that you seem important.

Are you so sure? If you really thought that I was a person who believes what he is told, do you really believe we would be having this conversation?
I speak from experience. You might consider it politically incorrect, or even perhapes racist, but the truth shall always remain the truth, no matter how much you candy coat it.
Believ me, I have met enough percentage of people to know what I am talking about. One does not move around a lot in his life and miss out on the differences between the different cultures he has met.
I am not saying anything bad about any perticular race of people as a whole, but as the single group in a certain location within the world. Blacks are good at basketball, but only within the United States. In the Republic of Congo, they barely have enough materials to survive a single day, let alone to enjoy a sport.
Chinese are good at math, but only those who are born and educated in China, and only when compared with people from the west.
I realised now that all that I have said is not correctly interpreted by you all, as you have not seen half as much as I did. I will try to include the geography, cultures, and customs of the people that I now talk about in the future.

What makes you good at math is also the source which makes most mainland Chinese good at math: they work hard. While most people work hard, they do so at an unhealthy level. Most people have atleast one or more subjects are which they are good at, and in those classes they usually get high grades. However, Chinese are not always naturally good at the subject at hand, but they study it day and night, absorbing every fact and figure into their mind. When test time comes, they do extremely well, but not because they understand or truly comprehent the subject, but because they have memorized every detail of the suject so well that they can give out all the corect answers, even if they don't understand why it is correct in the first place.

China has modernized, and have incorperated numerious ideas form the west. But tradition still takes root in the traditional Chinese family. It may not be as strong as it was in the past, but it is there notheless. If you want an example, just go to the more remote rural areas in China. They still believe that having a boy is better than having a girl, and that is the source where most of the Chinese girls adopted by Americans come from.

Sterotypes are not usually true, they are NEVER true. You can NEVER take an entire group of people as broad as a culture and label them one thing like good at math.
And need you be reminded that racism is NOT ACCEPTABLE?

Before you stick your foot any farther down your throat, I feel obligated to inform you that Yunn lives in Singapore.
Also, go away. You sir have shown your true colors in the last few posts, and they are not welcome here.

Agreed, and I doubt he'll be bugging you guys anytime soon.
As for the thread, thread hijacking is not good at all. I'm not gonna delve into the history of the tangent (as that would probably involved banning a dozen people) but let's keep on track, folks.
Get well, Icicella (even though I don't know you or who you are, I don't like when people are hurt).
EDIT: It seems hijacking is allowed on this forum after all. But I fear there has been a misinterpretation- if it amuses the mod. Racism is against the general forum rules period, and this is way off topic. I rest my case.

Just discovered what stereotype is. Apparantly, it's not as bad as you people make it sound like, and it also appears to have nothing to do with racism. However, with the world being in a "politically correct" state of mind, I guess I can see where you guys are coming from.
I would also like to wish this Icicella person a speedy recovery, though I believe she is out of the hospital by now.

Racial stereotypes are a kind of stereotype, and are often negative. If people take offense from a stereotype, then it is just as bad as we have made it sound like. You're stereotyping stereotypes

I thought he was using good stereotypes: Chinese good at math, and blacks good at basketball.
I know it's not always true, but I read somewhere back where he said there are exceptions.
Couldn't have said it better myself, WD.
For your information, I'm only two generations away from mainland China, so although I'm not completely China-fied, my parents also enforce most of these things that the Chinese people do, being the Chinese that we are (duh)... jeez, you majoring in Chinese Studies or something?
Chinese are still Chinese, American-born, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Singaporean. It's true that the Chinese (born in The People's Republic of China) you do see are smart, because they are usually the ones that earn scholarships, and qualify themselves to further their educations elsewhere other than their own country. Who's to say that all (or at least most) of the Chinese students in China are good at Math?
Get well, Icicella. See, I'm still on topic?

You yourself belong in another catergory all together: an idiot who is chastized in the normal world, so he pretends to be smart in the electronic world in order to gain acceptance from those who normaly would not pay attention to him. My condolences to your unfortunate parents.
Edit-don't give him the cookie. Dogs are not supposed to eat human treats.
And people are supposed to believe that because you're the forum idiot who everyone hates...?

First off, no, Kill, you haven't met enough of a percentage. The logistics of you meeting enough people to make you qualified to confirm or denounce a stereotype would render you hundreds of years old. And watching sitcoms doesn't count.
Second, just because stereotypes are "good" in nature (IE Chinese are good at math, black men have prehensile cocks, British people drink tea, Canadians have free healthcare) doesn't make them a good thing.
Here's what a stereotype is: It's something you've seen, possibly repeatedly, from a group of people, that you then apply to all other members of the group so that you can more quickly judge the kind of people they are. You HAVE been told these things. You've been told that black guys are good at basketball, and you've seen a good number of black guys who are pretty good at basketball, so you assume that most black guys are good at basketball. But the black guys who AREN'T good at basketball are likely not playing basketball, so I'd say it a tad premature to make this kind of genralization.
You're taking your limited perception, which is limited by the mere fact that you are a human being, and applying it to reality.
This has nothing to do with "political correctness." If you knew my age, race, religion, and place of origin, you'd very likely come to conclusions about me that are desperately untrue. If you knew Icicella's age, race, religion, and place of origin, you'd likely be utterly baffled, because she doesn't fit into any demographic.
The funny thing about sterotypes in today's society is that they work so that you think you've come to these conclusions yourself, when you really, REALLY haven't. There's a surprising amount of stuff in today's society that has you believing lies. But they're not true. I mean, of course, they're going to be true of some people, but that doesn't make everyone else exceptions to a rule, and it's really sad how many people thing that this isn't the case, and that they actually CAN come up with a series of standards they feel can adequately judge the millions of people belonging to any given group.

I had no idea you were Chinese. Does it feel fancy?Yup, it's quite fancy.
Speaking of religion, I'm also Buddhist when I feel like it. At other times, I'm Taoist. But (as my dad says) I'm Christian only during Christmas. Well, I can't say I'm really serious about my own religion, so I'm probably a free thinker, just following the whatever religion my parents dump on me. Doesn't really matter to me...

I am brilliant.... easy, go to Yahoo and make a fake e-mail. And while I was making this fake e-mail, I used the person I hate's name for the account name, and then I just make it an obvious account that make moderators relate me to someone. I simply realized the person was banned when I was reading a specific thread, (and the thread is closer than you think,) so I thought of this "deathwing" level of plan. (Cause only deathwing is as smart as I am...)

Deathwing was outsmarted by magic punk with a broken nose. If you were going for cunning you should have made a Ner'zhul level of plan. He's the only arch-villain who actually succeeded in his plan.

No reason, I really want to get him banned. It have nothing to do with the internet, it's personal. He kissed a guy in school, and I'm having revenge on him for my friend. That is about as likely as The Batman framing Bruce Wayne for murder. Flak already did an IP check, they are not one in the same. This guy kind of said so himself.
He might be on dial-up?
Batman framing Bruce Wayne for murder would only decrease suspiscion that Batman is Bruce Wayne. Perhaps he is trying the same thing here? A little reverse psychology, you know?

Hey guys, I'm back from the banning. *I wrote the reason why on Central Thread of FFF* And I also read all the things that I missed. Especially on this thread, and I do feel abit depressed. I think there is something seriously wrong here. Usually I like to spam and start a whole conversation about who the guy is, but for now. I learned my lesson for spamming, so I aren't gonna do so anymore, just please promise to ignore the other NH whenever he talks. Now back to topic, nice to see you standing up for me KCG, you truly are the KCG I liked.
To make this a non-spam, Get well girl, (though you are probably at least 30 years older than me,) and I hope you get your finger reattached or at least give it to KCG for his dark use of power. (cause if you do give it to him, he might promote me to be his personal guard for getting him the finger of death.)
