Well ... I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I'll take my chances ...
I was at a bookshop today and figured I'd check out Warcraft books. The only one that they had was War Of The Ancients: The Demon Soul. So, under the impression It'd might be hard to find, I bought it, incase it'd be out of stock elsewhere.
I was wodering, do you guys think that I should first buy the first book of the series before reading this, or is it fine to start with The Demon Soul?

Buy it and collect the others. Read them in order. It's what I did with several series of books and I don't regret it.
Strange thing is that even in the right order those books I'm talking about had characters dying in one book, and in the next there were earlier records of their lives. Confusing. Even if you don't get it now, I'm sure you'll get it on
ebay.

It is not fine just starting with The Demon Soul. If buying all 5 books is too harsh for you, then I would atleast tell you to buy "The Well of Eternity" first.
You might also want to buy the e-book "Of Blood and Honor" along with your purchases too(I have no idea why blizzard hasn't released that on paperback).

Actually, only the three in that trilogy (Two, I don't think the third is out yet...?) are needed to be read in order. The rest of the series doesn't matter. I read them in this order;
Thrall's Story (Forgot name) (second novel)
Khadgar's Story (The Last Guardian) (Third Novel)
War of Ancients 1 (Fourth novel, first in trilogy)
War of Ancients 2 (Fifth novel, second in trilogy)
And I HAVN'T read Day of the Dragon.

You probably should. Unlike Well of Eternity I was actually able to read all of Day of the Dragon, and though I liked the other two alot more I still liked DotD, particularly the parts with the Aspects.

I've enver had a chance to pick it up. I've liked all the books, altough I think The Last Guardian was the slowest (and it still was good)

There's a good reason you couldn't find "Of Blood and Honor" in Barnes & Noble; it's an e-book. Meaning that it exists only in electronic form. Download it for an appropriate fee at Amazon.com, following the link from Blizzard's page.
Also, Day of the Dragon is far superior to the War of the Ancients trilogy, primarily because it gives Knaak fewer chances to screw up.
And probably because WarDragon's bias towards all things draconic...

well probably the best order to read them in is their publication order. thats actualy the order they all start in (well cept Of blood and honor since i forgot when that one came out in comparison to the first 3. basicly they go in this order:
Day of the dragon
Lord of the clans
the last guardian
of blood and honor
war of ancient trilogy.
thats the order except "the last guardian" can be placed most likely anywhere within the 2 other original books and the ebook. basicly
day of dragon
lord of the clans
of blood and honor
must remain in that order, though "the last guardian can fit anywhere before, in between, or after those books (most likely after the 3).
and then war of ancients starts after all of those however it goes back and tells the story of 10000 years before.
basicly id just recomend reading day of the dragon before you read the war of anmcients trilogy. its not absolutely nessesary but it would be a good idea. however i seriously recommend reading well of eternity before demon soul. otherwise it will probably be far too confusing.
actualy i recomend you read em all. the order really is not so important, excpet for the trilogy.

Chronologically The Last Guardian happened before any of those things. Medivh was killed during the first war, but the other two mostly took place inbetween the second and third wars.
