Today we commemorate one of this forum's loudest voices, KingcrazyGenius. We knew weeks ago that he would have to depart to serve his country, and today the hour has fallen and he must take his leave. In my many years as apart of this community I have met many a member, and see many pass on. Today is his turn, and we shall have nought but our memories of the times we had on this forum together. We are losing a fine member and an outstanding poster. Let us have a moment of silence, not just for King, but for all those who have come, been apart of this community, and left. The SPF will never forget those of it's proud and strong members, as long as there are those that remain.

Suit yourself Neph. I just sho a little respect sometimes when people leave, it makes me downhearted to see the longtime members leave. Plus It's also a general ceremony to remember all of those who have gone such as Icicilia, Rudynoname, ect. Or just those special times we've had. That what holds this forum together, not just the practical facts and the combined lore knowledge we possess, it's the heart and soul of the place. And our members make this place what is is, without the people there is no forum.

He was right his leaving did bring a major blow to this forum, and no one can replace him, for teh KCG is one in a kind. Some other may show up to bring people laughs but not the kind of laughs KCG braought. And also, no one will beta that postcount, this forum will die by then :g tongue: .....he never got it past 6 000 (on teh counter :y-crazy: not the true estimate)

I'll miss you, Kingcrazygenius. You've been a true friend, and I thank you for the many times you commented on the fanfiction that I wrote. Know that, if I ever finish "Bane of Chaos", there should be a cameo in it for you. I hope you get to read it someday.

Well... having a few friends of mine already join various services a few years back, I've known all along that King would never be gone. I don't know what changed that has him back, but either he decided he didn't want to spend the miniscule effort needed to be paid to take classes and pampered physical training, or he's taking pampered physical training and some college-level classes and being PAID to do so, and to top it off, has access to the internet there (which comes as no surprise to me)...

Neither shocks me so much as seeing that he's been crowned a mod. Tis a dark time indeed... With respect to his unique and raw personality, I can't fathom what extent of madness it took (or number of glasses of hard liquor) to lead one of the forum heads to make KCG a mod... He's a wee bit on the radical side to be a "fair" and decisive moderator. Then again he's likely to make no claim to being fair at all, and thus can't be held accountable for being biased... curses...

You have a point though, WD, he's a character who's nigh constant around this place, so that alone has merit for a good mod. And as of yet, I've not seen nor experienced any bad moding from him, so I'm leaving room for benefit of the doubt. Regardless, I stand by my question of ponderment: HOW many bottles did it take?

And as a sidenote, my avatar was a decision to mark something I enjoy in hopes of being united with any other Naruto fans that may notice. After going through trying (and failing) to "convert" KCG to experiencing Naruto, I have no intentions of forcibly pushing my hobbies on others. After all, we're all already WC fans.
