so does anyone know any good free anti spyware programs and stuff that helps ur pc? coz i think theres something up with my pc...i mean after being online so long these files appear on my hard drive...some with icons like a barcode and stuff! i dont dare click them incase its a virus but it is very annoying they keep appearing there! anyway thanks in advance folks

Um, I doubt it's breaking the rules since we've had this several times before. Anyway the main one that most everyone uses is ad-aware (www.ad-aware.com) it's pretty good, gets most of the stuff off.

I also recommend Spywareblaster (download at download.com (http://www.download.com)), since it stop you from ever getting the spyware files in the first place.
