"Many generations have passed since the great war of Rhune, where men had to defend their lands against the chaotic Goblins; casting them back into the depths of Khazad Aden by use of Dark Magic. However, they had awakened impending doom by opening therein a great rift that lay dormant, waiting for time to pass, when the world would be changed forever.

Men dwelt thereafter in relative peace and prosperity. Occasionally being threatened by wild folk and creatures. In the warmth and tranquility of their kingdoms, they had dulled, not knowing what lurked in the shadows of the night.

From the murky depths have emerged a new threat; strange shadow beings with desolate gazes that prey upon human souls. The days grow long and dark. A foul air lingers. A deathly silence has ensued the lands and in unease do Men live.

The time has come where Men must draw courage and trust their swords and heroes must rise, conquering fear in battle. The time is now!

Awaken warrior, for a violent storm is brooding, enraged by greed and hatred this storm sets out to break the shackles of the unified power that have been kept dormant for many millennia, this power is yet to be awakened once again for good or for worse."

We are planning to release a playable demo in December. Take note though that we started on this in late August and the project is a lot younger than 0AD or DoF. Would appreciate some feedback; comments, questions and suggestions are welcomed in our forums (http://www.templargames.com/forums).

You got some interesting stuff in dem screens, but you could do more with it in terms of terraining. Kinda bland and fake looking. The models are cool and all, but where's the underbrush? Trees dont grow clean out of the ground like that. There's one kind of flower in that huge expanse of nothing and a few trees- again, unrealistic. Keep in mind I'm not trying to insult but rather consider this constructive criticism.

Thanks kindly for your comments :) Your concerns are valid, however, we did start this just under two months ago so we had overlooked certain things. We are now pushing for new art and better terrain in time for the completion of the demo. New screenshots will be published within the coming week(s).

Again, thanks.

I don't know if I should consider this advertising, so to protect myself I'm not saying anything.

Good job so far, I'd play it. Let's see some units!

You over work your "job".

Looks very very nice, as Flak mentioned, more terraining.
