For those of you who are slightly less tech-savvy than my grandmother, an OS (operating system) is what runs your computer, e.g. Windows XP, Linux, Mac OSX, etc...
So, talk about what operating system you think is the best, which one (or ones) you use, what you love/hate about it (them), which ones you'll never be caught dead with... Be specific if you can, i.e. what version (WinXP or WinNT?), what distribution (Gentoo Linux or Red Hat Linux?), etc. Also discuss what features of your Op Sys that you prefer to disable and use an alternative; e.g. do you stick with Internet Explorer or have you switched to Firefox?
Make fun of Microsoft's security issues, belittle Mac's pathetic advertising, make fun of old Unix farts who still use a command-line... the more emotional, the more entertaining! Post links to funny video (http://www.ubergeek.tv/article.php?pid=55) clips (http://www.ubergeek.tv/article.php?pid=54), parodies, and sarcastic retorts...just stay within forum rules!
