What is it about selling accounts? I mean so many of the more "gosu" people are selling their accounts. Slasher and AsSunsetFalls are two of the more recent examples(both on USwest) and why throw everything away so some rich prick can say he is you? any thoughts?

Well what good is a high level account if you aren't able to work at it yourself? I mean, the AMM will pair you with someone about your level. You'll never win any games at that rate.

Maybe it's about the prestige, they probably just plan to hang around b.net chatrooms and harass people.

Ah, accounts selling....
Thats probably one of the reason why my team(level 6) and me(level 2) beat the sh*t out opponents level 25+ on bnet. :y-idea:

He'll, if I had a good record, I'd gladly sell it for a good price. What's wrong with selling your account for money?

the whoel point of it is to have an account that looks godly or have much fewer losses than one migh thave had he or she played it him/herself. for example int he old patches, if i took the time and got any offers, i would go 100-10, sell the account to some nugget, and he or she would gloat and go OMG I"M SO GOOD KEKEKE 100-10 **** NOOBZ or whatever.

stupid, pointless, but people do it. i just wish i knew those people who bought them so i could've made some money -_-

ive heard of ppl selling their accts then quickly changing the password after they get the $. I guess it teaches the buyer a lesson....sort of.

No, they can register the account and then use the password recovery thing to get their password back after..

In Korea, gaming is a very popular thing, especially with games like WC3 and Starcraft. There is a TV channel used solely for telecasting matches and gaming events, Wow..mad. and contestants are regarded like sportstars or rockstars. So paying for one of these accounts is like getting a racquet thats used by Andrew Agassi for example.

Well, if it is a good, but not in the top 50 in the world or something, then i could probably mine... IF it was so good :y-curtain

But to buy one... that i dont understand... you dont get any better, and degrade if you play, because you play with people much better than yourself.

Now people are going to call Koreans losers for liking games so much, blah blah blah.

Remember that cultural differences exist. What is "cool" here is seen as heresy in some middle-eastern counties, etc.

Well i sold for 80 and i came back breifly to see clan 2ez but i left i was not kicked -_-1) reason i left and i didnt stay in 2ez when i saw it for that first 2mins that i came back to wc was i didnt like em they had noob ppl and noob allies 2) i wanted my own clan!!
