Really messed up true story (somewhat not for younger or weaker viewers)

I was reading a case study in Anthropology class, but this one was really crazy. Here's how it goes...

A baby boy is born. Upon circumscision(sp?), to keep things less graphic we'll say the doctor missed. Half of his shaft was on the floor. No medications could resurrect his genitalie, so the doctor suggested an operation to make this baby boy a baby girl. They gave him a female reproductive organ and he was to take hormones a little later on. This little boygirl was isolated because shehe played like a boy but looked like a girl.

At age 11, hisher parents offered himher a boob job and other operations to make himher seem more 'right'. Shehe refused. At age 14 they told himher the truth. Shehe tried to commit suicide twice after, as he wanted to be a boy again. It could not be done.

Yes, we have a problem today with negligent doctors. I have no idea how we can circumvent this problem. Perhaps we can make it more difficult for someone to become such a doctor?

The lesson is that lotsa things are determined by nature. So screw parents and society for thinking they can mold people into outstanding citizens. I say, let the ppl be as messed up as they want :P

But there are many people who feel they are in the wrong body.
Which leads to sex change.... both boys to girls and vice versa and that is quite common...

I think attempted suicides are the ones that are the most flagrant cries for help. I've heard a lot of scenerios of people swallowing pills, and then calling their best friend to tell them what they've done. And then the stomach pumping... Same goes with slitting your wrists, it takes a while, and therefore sometimes it fails....

It seems as though these people might not have access to guns, rope and beam, high cliff, bridge over a raging river, or other means of quick deaths.

As for the mishandled circumcision...... accidents happen!

The majority of males in the USA are circumsized..... O.o ...I'm uncircumsized, I'm comfortable with admitting it, and it has nothing to do with religion or anything, my dad just had/has this thing with doctor's attacking his little newborns with sharp tools. I dunno, he's never admitted anything, but that's what my mom says. :y-candle:

My guess is that overdosing on pills and cutting your wrists is what looks the least scary when comitting suicide. That's just my viewpoint. I think those that call up their best friends after downing a bottle of Tylenol are in shock at what they just did and suddenly feel a need to grasp onto life. Then, after they've had they stomach pumped, they're depressed and suicidal over what they did..

Because people pussy out and don't go for their brain or their spine. They go for their wrists or just try to overdose. We should teach people how to kill themselves right, like the Japanese do, to stab themselves through the stomach and internal bleed to death.

Circumsision is the removal of skin off the head of the penis, it's not deliberately chopping off the head. :y-candle: Unless what I heard is true, the size between an uncircumsized and a circumsized should be very close.
