I know this will porbably get closed, but I think it may be a good idea, other than flooding Rush's inbox with entries.
I guess you can just state the forum you wish to mod, and why you would be good for modding that forum.
Forum: Night Elf Strategy
What makes me right: I'm online very frequently, and understand the rules of the forum(as well as the line between allowable and not). I'm not a power hungry kind of guy, and I consider myself fair. I also have never been banned.
My only bad parts are: I'm fairly new, and I do tend to stand up for the little guy at times.
No criticism for members PLZ.

Dear Rush:
In recent days I have noticed threads popping up in the Fan Fiction Forums, threads in which people make uninformed comments or demands, or make nonsensical posts. These threads are left to linger in the bowels of the demon named Spam, and it just isn’t what the FFF is supposed to represent: respect, art, love for writing. Recently even, one man happened to say something along the lines of screw stories.
I don’t like seeing this happen, especially to a forum I love so much (you may or may not know, I myself have a story there). I don’t know if the other mods have powers there, but they certainly don’t come around often. It would be nice to see someone with authority doing something about this, closing bad threads, editing inflammatory posts.
I also know some people would like edits to their story posts, among other things- small everyday things, past the 20 minute limit, that make things easier for forumers. I believe a Fan Fiction Moderator would be in order. If I may be so bold as to ask, I would like to be that person. I feel like I could be dutiful about it, helping those who want help, closing inappropriate threads (asking for replays, etc.), posting links for new comers. I can be patient and explaining, I wouldn’t ban if people double posted.
To sum it up, I think the FFF needs a mod, or at least wants a mod, and that I would be a good person for the job. I am a frequenter of said forum, I write well, and I can be a generally agreeable person. Thank you for reading this request,

I've sent Rush an e-mail, but okay...
I'm a regular at any of the five strategy forums. I've been posting on this forum for a pretty long time... I think I was at around 1200 posts before the the forum switched and everybody lost their post counts... and I wasn't ever known for being a spammer. I post rather often, whenever I have the time. I usually have some time.
I'd be glad to offer modding service to any of the five strategy forums, in case there is a need for one. I guess it would be my way of paying the forum back for being a place I've been posting at for WC for quite a while...

I'd like to ask for modship of the MMF, too. I like to think I've helped people frequently and well, and DS needs some help. (Just to boast, I have 9 [count them, nine] unredeemed castration cookies :) )
But if Nova's applying, and you think the MMF needs another mod, take Nova. He's better than I am.

just to tell you guys, perhaps it's more effective to lead by action (having good behavior in the forum, report inappropriate activities, good manner.... etc), and not even mentioning about wanting to be a mod (and let mods already in existance to recommend you)

I would like to apply for the Art forum.
I have a moderate degree of talent with Photoshop and pencil drawing, and I believe I at least have a fair amount of presence in that forum.
Questions are asked and re-asked quite frequently - one that pops up too many times is a request for illegal program downloads.
I know this is an unoffical thread, but I'd like to write in, at least.

You're welcome, Nova. Really, though I can be helpful at times, you're far better at the complex triggers (i.e. Lightning Trigger Abuse).
I do a great deal at the art forum? Huh. But now Warpblade's applying :( I mostly go there for the wtf was that game, anyways.

Even though I deeply want the NE forum, I'd vote for AG over me any day.

I was referring to previous posts that defied the rules of this thread. As for your way of getting attention, that's pretty clever.

why me?
1. i moderated for rush and co. over at starcraft ghost, for all three forums there.
2. i've been here a long time. i'm one of the first 4000 to register on the site. I know the rules, and i'm an adult.
3. Hiro needs help with the OTF. he does a good job, but there are stretches of more then a week at a time when he isn't here or doesn't respond to anything.
4. you owe me one for backing out of that karoke challenge. you may have the reputation as a good karoke singer, rush, but i know i could one up you. infact, i was booed off the stage while singing "friends in low places".
5. i'm fair to newcomers. i was a regular poster in the old newcomer forum, helping newcomers. as Mod at ghost, i didn't have the power to ban, so the focus was more on communication of the rules, and trying to salvage potentially good newcomers.
6. i'm "president" of the OTF.

There are only two people I'm interested as being a Mod, and theres a fat chance either would be chosen by Rush. Doesnt matter any ways, the forums are just about dead, nearly all the vets are gone, and the forum interest levels are at their lowest in a long time.

He actually use to post alot, just like Gaile. Forum resets and crashes seem to change recorsd dramatically though. I should be well over the 35,000 mark, myself.
