Here we are faced with the question that has been pondering the back our minds for thousands of years (actualy, ever since the frozen throne was released, but still....)
If the frozen throne wasnt and expansion, which one would you buy and why?

If not for the tavern and all extra features, then for the AWESOME world editor that kicks RoC's ass. Who cares about some minor balance issues when you can create whole worlds with ease?

i chose tft ONLY cause of the world editor and the orc healing. orcs are piss weak without their new special healing..... :bigclap:

TFT contains everything RoC has, except the campaigns stuff.

I voted for ROC, because it has better story than TFT
Of course that TFT has greater WE and new units,etc.
But i was more glad when the ROC came out, than for TFT.

Yeah, i agree. the campaign in TFT was pretty crap, as it was more scenario based, not like mission like in ROC, and the story line in TFT did realy suk. i mean if they dont bring out a Warcraft IIII (not World of Warcraft, a RTS), it would realy suk because it was like "setting the scene". the only good campaign in TFT was the orc one, that was cool.

You do know that my protest against TFT had begun ever since the infamous 1.05 beta patch that turned TFT into Starcraft II rather than a real enjoyable warcraft experience. No, you're too young.

indeed slay, but the problem started long before the 1.05 beta patch. . . taking away the fixed camera, making the demons unplayable. . .
you are wrong though about it being starcraft 2. i like starcraft, and ROC is certainly not starcraft like.
i can't believe people talk about the ROC campaign being better then anything. any game that has the incredible plot twists of "hey, lets go cut lots of wood in the forrest" is not a game at all. it is a mangled abortion of what could have been a good game.

I played them, just only once...
How come everyone (translation: some of you) thinks that the story in TFT sucks? I thought it was great, I really liked the cause-and-effect kind of story: Illidan trying to kill the Lich King, which caused the Lich king to loose power thus loosing his grip over his minions, which caused Sylvanas and her Forsaken to rise and Arthas to be forced to journey to the frozen throne.
It's genius - everythings connected. How can you say that it was a bad story?

I voted TFT. The campaigns were decent, although nowwhere near RoC, but the World Editor and the Dark Ranger tipped the scales for TFT.

The orcs:
A) Couldn't care less about ICECROWN(not Northrend).
B) Couldn't care less about Illidan.
C) Are busy founding a nation.
D) Figured they didn't want to be part of a junk campaign, so they made their own cool one. :bigclap:
