In the Warcraft 3, the Night Elf says: "Let's move, five meter spread, no sound." Which is said by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator!

No, it's the Archer. You know: "I said a bowstring, not a G. Ugh... never mind."

I think blizzard was inspired in some of the creations in warcraft3 from novels and movies, like the archmage hero, he looks like the wizard gandalf riding a horse form the Lord of the rings triology.

...or maybe inspired by santa clause? he kinda looks like santa with that big white beard...

Why to go so far in your thinking?
The common thing between gandalf and the archmage is magic.
I am sure that santa claus have no magic powers. :y-thumbsu

I don't mean the figurative meaning of magic.

What about the flying sleigh, and the ability to squeeze through chimneys with that belly?

Yes you do. What you don't mean is the literal meaning of magic.

HOLY CRAP! HOW THE HELL DID YOU FIGURE THAT OUT!?

@ KCG - Your wrong! He doesn't mean the figurative meaning in the post before, that goes as:
Why to go so far in your thinking?

He means that the figurative meaning of magic (that special feeling, um ya w/e) is the only thing santa has : - )

Yes, he does mean the literal meaning you dolt. Whether you both think so or not.

And Santa so has magical powers. He sold his soul to Satan for immortality and omnicience after all.

oh yea, they did a calculation on santa claus incorporating the time zone consideration

and they found its possible without magic

I meant the literal meaning of magic.
The archmage from warcraft and gandalf from the lord of the rings triology books/movies have common look.
They booth ride a horse and wield magical staff, they booth have magic powers, when you watch a scene from lord of the rings movies(the two towers and return of the king), gandalf riding a horse and the archmage moving in the map you will notice how the archmage looks like gandalf.

Santa's mana has been reduced so he can now only reach the homes of the rich children.

The fact remains he sold his soul for immortality and omnicience.

Geez, don't bite my head off! I know there's lots of movie quotes, especially from Star Wars.
I didn't say the Night Elf ARCHER, sorry about that.

"Deywanneewanga" (Forest Troll, creep not Horde) is also from Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, the Twi'lek dude working for Jabba the Hutt.

I remember it's one of the troll's quotes... not sure if it's the "Deywanneewanga" one. Perhaps it's the "Jabbanabatabatu" one... or... ....?

I'm pretty sure it's both of those, Yunn. They were originally said by Bib Fortuna, as he escorted Luke to his master Jabba's throne room.
