Actually, I quite like Bartuc The 1st. I find his sometimes juvenile humour to be a fresh change. He seems like quite a nice guy.

No he didn't. A growing population, along with the rise of SUVs and minivans increased demand. Another place that is a major oil drain is China. Economy inflation, along with increased demand means higher prices.

That's an unfair statement. The economy and the president rarely correspond directly to each other. A lot of those who praise Clinton have to realize that he also was extremely lucky in being elected at the time of the .com boom.

But from what you said before, isn't the issue that he's a dictator? Or is it okay, if he's "good?" Even Saddam was good after a fashion in that he held the opposing forces in line. Who's to judge good and evil?

I think Saddam was terrible. That's my set of beliefs. I don't think we should have invaded. We can't go to every country that we deem bad and try to install a democracy.
